From Las Vegas, take I-15 North toward St. George and Salt Lake City. Take the Hurricane exit and travel on Hwy 9 through the cities of Hurricane and LaVerkin, (following the signs toward Zion Nat’l Park, you will turn right at an intersection in LaVerkin, though you remain on Hwy 9), then onto the city of Virgin. A Nat’l Park sign will indicate an exit for KOLOB RESERVOIR, a left turn 9/10ths of a mile from the Virgin city sign. Turn left on Kolob Terrace Road and travel five miles until you’ve arrived at the metal gate of the Sunset Canyon Ranch.
